Marc Hannah is a co-founder of Silicon Graphics Inc (SGI), a global pioneer in computer graphics and high performance computing used everywhere, including animating movies. He has served on several boards and he has been in high positions, helping many businesses. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, using funding from a scholarship from Bell Laboratories. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1977. He moved to Stanford University where he obtained his M.S. degree and his Ph.D. degree in 1978 and 1985 respectively.
